Book Your First VisitWHAT TO EXPECT
Your first appointment, step by step.
Check In
Arrive a few minutes early. Our front desk team will greet you, verify your insurance, and get your paperwork sorted quickly.
Health History Review
We'll review your medical and dental history, any medications you're taking, and any concerns or goals you have for your smile.
Comprehensive Exam
Dr. O'Brien or one of our associates will perform a thorough exam including X-rays, periodontal assessment, and oral cancer screening.
Treatment Planning
We'll walk you through our findings in plain language and build a treatment plan around your goals, timeline, and budget — no pressure.
Cleaning (if scheduled)
If your appointment includes a cleaning, our hygienist will take care of that before or after your exam — efficient and thorough. Whether a cleaning is scheduled will depend on your individual needs.

INSURANCE & FINANCING
We work with most major plans.
We accept most PPO dental insurance plans and will file claims on your behalf. We also offer flexible financing options through CareCredit, Cherry, and Sunbit for patients who need to spread out the cost of treatment.
Don't have insurance? We offer in-house payment plans and accept CareCredit, Cherry, and Sunbit financing. Ask our front desk for details.
DENTAL ANXIETY
We get it. And we're here for it.
Dental anxiety is real, and it's more common than you think. Many of our patients haven't seen a dentist in years — some in decades — because of fear or past bad experiences. We don't judge. We go at your pace, explain every step before we do it, and check in with you throughout. If you need a break, just say so. Our goal is to make every visit feel manageable, and eventually, even comfortable.
Tell us upfront
Let us know you're anxious when you book. We'll flag your chart and make sure your provider knows before you sit down.
Ask questions freely
There are no dumb questions. We'd rather over-explain than have you leave confused or worried.
Use a signal
We use a simple hand signal system — raise your hand and we stop immediately, no questions asked.
Bring headphones
Music or a podcast can help. We have blankets and head pillows to help aid in our patients comfort.
